Bridge over stream in high woodland.

 

Dull with showers.

This orange growth is quite common in this particular area. I stuck it under a microscope to see if it was perhaps algal. Turns out it's Trentepohlia - an alga.

    

Stereum rugosum on the left and another minute (4mm.) Mycena on the right.

    

Two lichens on Sycamore. The left-hand specimen has fruitbodies that are just about to open. On the right we have a Graphis sp.

    

And this image has virtually all the previous specimens in a small area.
