15th December

Original Hedgerow, leg1.

Bright and dull periods with showers.

Bad light almost stopped play, but I managed a few fungi. This mycena grows on moss on live deciduous trunks. The stipe is very strong and firm, leading us to Mycena galericulata.

Lesser Celandine - Ranunculus ficaria - has been budding in November/December at this location. The buds don't fully open and drop off quite quckly.

Tubaria furfuracia on the left and a Mycena with droplets on the right.

There was quite a bit of Calocera viscosa at this spot, but this was the only accessible piece.
