Bright early, but very stormy later.

This newish Birch stump is literally covered with Armillaria mellea - a honey fungus. The group as shown is about 40 cm. high.

Last week I showed Marasmius hudsonii on Holly leaves. It was much easier to photograph these larger specimens. They are 3mm across.
