Return to Drumboe to check on the Pseudohydnum gelatinosum from Thursday.

Bright with late heavy rain.

I hadn't seen Pseudohydnum gelatinosum until earlier in the week, and wanted to check my tentative identification. It turns out to be quite an attractive beastie. Light reflects off the edges as an icy blue colour. The spores are carried in the tooth-shaped structures on the under surface.

The 'cap' is about 3.5 cm. across, and there were about 5 specimens in various stages of development on an old coniferous stump.
