Original Hedgerow, leg 1.

 

Dull with prolonged showers.

 

This is a 'juvenile' Hard Shield Fern. The frond is single-pinnate at this stage. See a mature specimen for comparison.

 

Navelwort is firming up again for next years' growth.

 

I took this picture of an old Hogweed stem just in case the dark patches were fungal, but I can see no sporing structures under magnification. Maybe it's just a normal dying process.

Two images of a fairly large (8 cm.) Clitocybe under Hawthorn. No further id, yet.

    

 

I wasn't sure if this was another Mycena, but the spores are white, so I suppose it must be. Cap about 1 cm. across.
