Rained off, but I started to work on the species index for the year. So far I've catalogued January, February and March. This will eventually have hyperlinks to each instance of each positively identified species in the database.

Note: This is W.I P. and is known to need further work, so pedants can relax.

Dull with continuous rain.

Dandelion is an important species at the start of the year - most early insect pictures are taken on it.

Around a dozen flowering plants were continuously in flower over the winter.

2005 had a very early start due to the mild winter.
