Hedgerow, leg 1.

 

Heavy rain showers.

A lot of new growth, now: Herb Robert (perfect at 5mm. across) and Nettle.

    

Pignut and Common Sorrel.

   

10 out of 10 if you spotted the Primrose leaf. 11 out of 10 if you got the Germander Speedwell first time around.

 

The ubiquitous Tubaria furfuracea is still lurking under the Hawthorn.

Lepraria incana agg. - a lichen - can be found on many banks and trunks.

 

Almost every stump has this moss with tiny (2mm.) capsules. One of the Hypnum cupressiforme group.
