Original Hedgerow, leg 2.

 

Sunny and hot.

 

Suddenly everything is bursting out. Bush Vetch - Vicia sepium. This will be continuously in flower until the frosts.

 

The third of my local flowering Speedwells: Germander Speedwell - Veronica chamaedrys.

 

The Common Fumitory - Funaria officinalis - has suddenly added great colour to disturbed verges.

The unrolling fronds of Scaly Male Fern always appear to have an 'animal' character about them.

The first Chickweed flowers of the year.

 

Bugle - Ajuga reptans.
