Continuous rain after a showery start.
Another shot of Eristalis pertinax. The droppings to the left are clearly full of pollen.
And a small (1 cm.) syrph that I just can't pin down at all. I know lots of things that it isn't.
It appears to be Platycheirus albimanus.
