Original Hedgerow, leg 2 (continued).

Overcast with heavy rain showers.

A new micromoth for the site, or rather, it isn't new. On 19th May I showed the larva of Celypha lacunana. This is the adult, and the photograps were taken about 10 metres apart from each other.

The underside of a small (6mm.) Chrysomelid beetle.

Two shots of a Tenthredo sp. Sawfly.

A Rove Beetle crossed the path. Further id work ongoing.

A Ladybird grub. Too small to id to species.

Another Tenthredo Sawfly. Last year I photographed one of these leaping on a Soldier Beetle. This time the beetle managed to fly before the Sawfly pounced.

A great photo, I think.

The larva of Mottled Umber moth - Erannis defoliaria - on Beech.

Two shots of an Elachista apicipunctella micromoth. About 6mm long.
