High Heath.

Overcast with heavy rain showers.

A Willow bush provided me with a couple of shots. First, Ants tending a few Aphids at branch intersections.

And then I noticed a few rolled-up leaves. The white-headed larva is just discernible in the right-hand image. It's about 1-2 mm long. Probably a Sawfly.

The Willow appears to be a hybrid between Eared and Goat. (Crinkled leaves, but too large and oval to be pure Eared)

And a little grey Weevil on the same plant.

This micro flew around tantalisingly and then allowed me this single shot on the Bramble leaf.

Probably Eupoecilia angustana again.

Most of the Dog Violets have finished now, but this solitary specimen struggles on.

And the Heaths start. Cross-leaved Heath - Erica tetralis.
