Beltany Circle on a photo-shoot for the conference on Saturday.

Occasional showers.

A rather large specimen of the Blackening Waxcap - Hygrocybe nigrescens = H. conica.

The field surrounding the stone is good for a few grassland fungi, including this Bolbitius vitellinus.

A late specimen of Red Campion with a seed container from an earlier flowering.

The Beltany stones are covered in lichens. This looks like a Pertusaria of some kind.
