The mild October has led to some spring flowers having another push. There are a few plants of Germander Speedwell in flower along the verge.
On the other hand, this ancient Ash has lost all its leaves.
Raspberry canes are flowering again, but these won't reach maturity.
Last year I found an active Wasps nest late in the year. This is another. The wasps were flying all around my head as I took this picture, but I wasn't getting any closer.
