Approach to deforested area.

Frequent showers.

The Angelica was exactly as expected in July: covered in insects of all kinds. Then in August it rained every day and the heads were consistently empty. So only half a season. Now they've gone to seed.

This looked like a fried egg lying on the verge. A Hebeloma of some kind.

This is the fourth location for Helvella corium, and the furthest (200m) from the first spot I found it.

A little (5mm) Chrysomelid on Willow. Not any of the usual suspects, so maybe it was just wandering.

One of the orange Waxcaps. No blackening even when dried, so maybe Hygrocybe quieta.
