Original Hedgerow, leg 1.

Warm and sunny.

Barren Strawberry, showing the diagnostic notches in the outer edge of the petals.

It looks as if this Lesser Celandine has guy ropes holding it in place.

Greater Stitchwort. The pink shade is caused by reflections from the setting sun.

Hartstongue Fern is perhaps the earliest of the ferns to show new growth.

I showed this clump of Navelwort growing in a live Hawthorn stem last year. I'm not sure if it flowered.

A Primrose bud growing on the top of a wall.

Lastly for today, Dog Violet - Viola riviniana - showing the diagnostic notched spur.

Spring must have arrived.
