Bright and hot. |
Gastrophysa viridula are currently on many Dock leaves. The larvae will hatch shortly and destroy the leaves they feed on.

A nice undershot of a Green-veined White. |
Beetle attacks and fungal infections are damaging the Meadowsweet long before the flowers appear. Leaf-miners will be next. |
Another micromoth - Micropteryx calthella - on the first Buttercup of the year. There is much synchronisation going on. |
A couple of Muscids that I examined to see if they might be Tachinids.
