Visit to Carrigans.

Bright and hot.

This set of images was taken late in the day, just as the sun was setting.

Horse Chestnut flowers.

A winged aphid on Ribwort Plantain growing on a wall.

Hawthorn blossom has just opened, and the Hawthorn trees look as if it has just been snowing.

A leaf gall on Sycamore. Aceria macrorhynchus.

This is an interesting image. The original tree was blown over in a storm and the rest of the trees have grown from the trunk. I have no idea of the species, but I note that the leaves are just opening. Only Oak is currently at that stage.

The first White Clover of the year. Again growing on a wall.
