Glyphipterix simpliciella - the Cocksfoot moth - has emerged and is flying everywhere near grasses. Specimen about 4mm. long. |
One of my favourite micromoths: Micropterix calthella. Very numerous now, and often filling Buttercups. The head reminds me of a curly wig. |
These Cheilosia hoverflies really need to be examined under magnification to get them to species. |
