At last, a touch of sun and blue sky. The heat worked wonders, as you will see. Original Hedgerow, today.

This is a live sample of a Moss growing (this time) on Hawthorn.

I saw a frog last night hopping across a busy road after dark. This one was sunbathing about 30 cm from the edge of a deep ditch. So I suspect hibernation is over. I'll be looking for spawn now.

This yellow lichen was growing on Hawthorn. The light was low and to the south. About 3 cm long.

Xanthoria parietina

Most of the Reedmace has been blown over by the strong winds. These two were growing through Hawthorn, so are still standing.
