All the previous photographs of liverworts were taken from some distance away, since they grow in an awkward place to reach - the back wall of the stream. Today I built a little bridge to reach them.
This is the up-to-date picture of the Candle Snuff fungus. This is about as big as it gets - about 3cm tall, growing on Hawthorn.
