8th March

A trip to the River Deele, today. I sat and waited on the riverbank for quite a while before moving on. The instant I left, I looked back to see a Dipper flying up and down the river.

I also added a number of identifications for lichens and mosses for February 8th through 14th.

These are the leaves of Ramsons, one of the wild garlic family. The leaves smell very strongly of garlic when crushed.

This is how the moon looked in Co. Donegal, tonight.
