High Heath.

Wet and dull.

Ribwort Plantain (left) and the micromoth Eupoecilia angustana (both pictures). Own up...Who spotted the moth in the left-hand image?

The Common Spotted Orchids are just about at their best, now.

Local Bramble flowers vary from white to purple and have between 5 and 15 petals.

A couple of dryer shots of the Red-necked Footman moth.

Chlorops pumilionis - the Gout Fly - is a striking little fly. It's even more striking when you know it's only about 3mm long.

A better shot of Meadow Vetchling.
