Deforested area.

Showers and very dark.

So dark that I had to use flash. This is the larva of the Banded Sawfly - Hemichroa crocea. About 15mm long.

I showed the adult on 30th May.

Note the fungal rust that is covering much of the leaf.

This spider in my front hall was spinning its prey into a small parcel. I have no idea what it has caught.
