A couple of shots of what I take to be yet another ectoparasite of the Nematus pavidus larvae.

    

This Nematus pavidus larva looked particularly unwell, with different coloured patches and the bent rear end. I suppose that some larvae will be attacked by multiple parasites.

 

Many of the leaves on this Willow have been completely stripped. If this happened early in the season, then the tree would be severely under-nourished.
