New Brambles are still forming. These are quite fresh.
It's a good time for moss capsules at the moment. This Schistidium apocarpum has beautiful capsules, as can be seen from the close-up. They seem to act like light pipes, carrying light deep into the plant. Specimen on the left is about 5 cm diameter, and the capsules are about 4 mm. long.
