Deciduous approach to coniferous plantation.

 

 

 

Some rain, but mostly overcast.

 

These seedpods of Yellow Rattle give the plant its name. The seeds rattle around inside the dry pods.

These little (4 mm. diameter) fungi were growing on pieces of bark that were lying in the path. Possibly a Hemimycena.
