High deforested area. A little practice in plant identification when the specimens are still in the 'vegetative state' - before they have flowers.

 

Wet with sunny spells.

 

Ox-eye Daisy - Leucanthemum vulgare. I have to admit that the compound seedheads on tall stalks were a handy clue.

 

Thyme-leaved Speedwell - Veronica serpyllifolia. I find that this tiny species often grows on the 'green' central line of paths and lanes.
