A few images left over from Wednesday's trip to the Hedgerow.

Dark and damp.

This Herb Bennet (Geum urbanum) in flower made me nearly drop my camera. I don't usually see it until April/May.

I know that it can flower through  mild winters, but I didn't think it happened here.

Two shots of a Mycena...maybe Mycena galopus...spore print in preparation. Cap about 2 cm. across.

And Creeping Buttercup - Ranunculus repens...I think this has also become a perpetually flowering species here.

I note that Ranunculus acris - Meadow Buttercup has started to show leaves.
