about moyglass Tipperary Central.com GOLD AWARD

moyglass is a growing country village in county tipperary, ireland. the village is situated in an area known as the "golden vale" because of its lush green landscapes. moyglass comes from "magh glas" in gailge, this translates as "green plain", which describes this area accurately.

moyglass is expanding with a number of housing developments locally. the "community development committee" are attempting to put in place some of the infrastructure to support this growing community, by constructing a multipurpose community playing field and a community hall on a five acre site adjacant the village. your support for this venture is essential to allow this project to proceed. the community welcomes any contributions, and would also like to encourage everyone to attend the many functions which are held to raise funds.
