MISCELLANEOUS EQUIPMENT.

A considerable amount of other support equipment was carried on the cart such as Shovels, Picks, Sledge hammers, Claw hammers, Nails, Lamp oil, etc, as was a Cliff ladder (where applicable) and a considerable amount of other essential items. A Stores list was fastened to the cart stating the equipment to be carried. Of course this equipment was supplemented by other “useful items” provided locally and not on the official list.

Thank you for visiting my website, I hope you found it interesting and enjoyable. For further information on the modern coastguard in Ireland, visit the Crosshaven coastguard website in the links section.
