12/9/04: NDSL 12C team have great win over local rivals, Navan Road Utd, as 'ooo aahh Paul McGrath's strike gives them narrow 1-0 victory. NDSL 12 Premier went down 1-0 to an injury time winner by Mullingar Athletic. DDSL 16A1 ground out a 0-0 draw at home to Marks Rangers. Both sides had good chances to win it, so a draw seems a fair result. NDSL 16Bs have fine 2-0 win away to Malahide Utd. Ray Kelly and Christian Martin were on the mark for Celtic. Man of the Match was Paul Hughes at right back. click 15 Premier lost 3-1 to Boyne Rovers, despite going in 1-0 ahead at the break after Barry Flanagan's strike. It was difficult to control the ball with the wind blowing a gale. Tim Duffy's NDSL 17A team won 3-0 at home to Portmarnock, thanks to a brace from Fran Lowe, and one from Cian Kennedy. click | 11/9/04:

Superb volley from Joey McIlroy earns point for AUL Div2 side as they draw 1-1 at home to Hill Celtic AUL Div2A drew 3-3 away to Whitestown Utd, with goals from Martin Bando Thompson, Eoin Snowy Battigan, and Martin Fleming. DDSL 17 Major depleted team also went down 1-0 to St Patricks CYC, largely the result of refereeing that was a very poor advert for the profession, which left one of Celtic's players with stud marks all along his back! Football was also very difficult in stormy conditions. |
