Fixtures 5th February 2005

5/2/05: AUL Div.2 side defeated Phoenix Rovers 5-3 in 2nd round of Jim Cullen Cup. On the mark for Celtic were Aaron Coward, Albi Larkin, Simon Hogan, Rory Bracken, and Dave Jones.  Manager Daragh O'Connor is confident that his side, which is back to full strength, will do the business in next week's Quarter-Final showdown - see across.  AUL Div.2A team overcame St Brendans 3-1 in 2nd round of Jim Cullen Cup.  Deco Cunningham got his usual brace, with Snowey Battigan get the other Celtic goal. Al O'Grady got his marching orders for an indiscretion, and will miss next week's derby showdown with the other Celtic senior side. NDSL 12Ds : Celtic earn superb 2-2 draw against league leaders, Kinsealy, away  in Malahide.      6/2/05: NDSL 11Premier are easy 6-0 winners away to Boyne Rvrs.  Our 12Bs were not so lucky, they went down 2-1 away to Boyne. 12Ds take scalp with 3-2 win away to St Kevins Boys. Great all round performance. On the mark for Celtic were Mark Horgan, Mark Whelan, and Mark Lyons.  12E's make it 2-in-a-row with 2-0 home win over Ladyswell, with goals from Robt McEvoy and Adam Murnane.  click 12Premier lose out against St Josephs in SFAI Cup.  NDSL16B's have comfortable 3-0 win over Trinity S&L with Paul Hughes, Cillian Meade and Ciaran Egan on the scoresheet.  NDSL 13B's are easy 6-1 winners over Swords Rovers in Porterstown. Johnny Cooper got a couple, Ciaran Cully also got a brace, with Fergal Murphy and Ciaran Brady getting one each.   AUL Div teams meet in showdown in Quarter Finals of Elastoplast next Saturday, 12th February. Lots of pride at stake, each team claiming to be the top dogs. Man U v Arsenal only in the ha'penny place!  Smashing 1-0 win for U-9As away to St Pauls Artane in the February cold as Ryan Moore Kearney strikes gold.  click

DDSL 18Premier have bruising 4-1 win over Ballymun Utd in Laurel Lodge, with Steve and Adam O'Callaghan getting a goal a piece, and Simon Fleming's flick, coupled with Billy Cotter getting a rare goal completing their scoring.
