10/9/05:DDSL 11 Premier side were good value for a share of the points v. Leicester Celtic to open their league campaign. Sean Conroy scored a fab goal to put our boys 1-0 at half time. Leicester came strong in the second half to earn a draw. | 10/9/05:AUL Div1 side retained their 100% record start to the season by beating Greenfield Park 2-1. Big Dec Cunningham and new recruit Joey Thompson were Celtic's marksmen. 4/9/05:NDSL 11 Premier had a great 5-2 win away to Ratoath to start their league campaign in fine style. On the mark were Conor Byrne, Brian Slevin, Kevin Murphy, and 2 from Keith. 12Prem go down 2-1 to late goal at home to Ratoath. 12B had a great victory at home to Ashbourne in Porterstown, winning 7-1. Jamie Reid was on fire scoring 4, with Mark O'Brien, Matt Reid and Fionn Rogers, getting the others. 12E cruise to 4-0 win to start their league campaign at home to Ratoath. | 13Premier Jamie Turner's man-of-the- match performance was not enough to avoid a 4-2 away defeat at the hands of Rivervalley Rgrs. 13B lose 3-1 at home to Boyne Rvrs. 13C lose out to Rivervalley 4-1 at home. DDSL17A Share of points between Castleknock and Swords Celtic, with Stephen Simpson on the mark. 18 Prem Stephen Kirwan earns Tim Duffy's side a share of the points as they draw 1-1 with Maynooth Town. | DDSL 18Premier Close affair in Porterstown ends with Celtic and Bohs drawing 0-0. 3/9/05:AUL Div1 Steve Lawlor's management career continues with another win, as they beat Inchicore 4-2. Marto Fleming's brace, and one each for Dec Cunningham and Mark Stephens. Charlo Heneghan saved a penalty to gain him the man of the match award. AUL Div2 Daragh O'Connor's team suffered first defeat as they go down 1-0 against Killinarden. |

20/8/05: AUL Div1 off to a flyer, winning 4-2 against Valley Park Celtic, with goals from Martin Fleming (2), Al O'Grady and Padraig O'Donoghue. | 20/8/05: AUL Div2 started their new campaign with a 5-3 win at home to Donamore. On the mark for Celtic were Dara O'Connor and Albi Larkin, each of whom got a brace, and one for Paul Newman. They made it 2 out of 2 with a 1-0 over St Brendans away on 27/8. | AUL Div3 Sun begin their new season in the second week in September. Best of luck to Eddie O'Callaghan who has taken over this team, which was managed at schoolboy level by Arnie Brady. |
