open up the throttle as they overwhelm Swords Rovers 9-0 in
Tom Coghlan Cup, with goals from Brian Slevin (x5), Conor
Byrne(x2), Kevin Murphy, and Sean Ryan. This is the second
time for Brian Slevin to hit 5 in the Cup this season, and the
second time the team have hit opposition with a 9 goal salvo.
Brian and Conor Byrne have now notched up 39 goals between
them this season.
U-11D Ken Leech's squad deliver the goods. They
won 2-1 at home to Malahide, with goals from Conor McGuire and
Achmed Muzam. U-12B
leave it late, overcoming 1-0 deficit with 10 minutes
remaining. Jamie Reid was again on the mark with 2 late
strikes, the second from the penalty spot after he was taken
down. U-13A
Celtic share the points in this top of the league table clash,
with 3-3 draw versus Maynooth. Man of the match was Ian
Martin with another fine performance. New signing Ross
Cunningham got the first with a superb header from a
fine corner by Ian. Later Paul McGrath seized on an accurate
clearing header from Ryan Hickey, and sent in a low cross.
Ross was again on hand to slot home to restore the lead after
Maynooth had equalised. The third was a beauty from Darragh
McGowan, who rifled home in Robbie Fowler style. A cruel
penalty decision by the 'ref' on the blow denied Celtic the 3
points. U-13D
Mark Whelan earns Celtic a point at home to Clontarf in the
league, while Gavin Hamilton was unlucky to see his penalty
kick skim the bar. U-14A
had a hard-earned draw away to St Pauls in Artane when they
went within a whisker of taking all 3 points, only to be
denied with a late equaliser from the hosts. Marksmen for
Celtic were Gary Doyle, Oisin Hunt, and Ciaran Brady. U-15A
Chris Hoey scored a brace to earn his Celtic team 3 points at
home to Priorswood. Chis hit the target on 36 and 72
minutes. The visitors had drawn level on 45 minutes. Tom
Sangiani was Celtic's man of the match. AUL
Div3Sun Eddie O'Callaghan's troops resume their

O'Callaghan hits 2 and Paul Murray gets 1. Simon Fleming
