| The school's sporting activities are now well under way with senior competitions in Football, Hurling, Soccer and Basketball now in full swing in both Boys and Girls competitions. Junior teams have also started training for their competitions which will begin later this year.
The Senior Hurlers lost by four points to Dunshaughlin Community College, despite a late rally from the home side. They defeated Gormanstown College by the same margin and now face Prosperous in the last round. Victory here should see them through to the final stages. The Junior Hurlers had a convincing win over St. Pat's, Navan but had a disappointing defeat to Dunshauglin Community College subsequently. They were beaten by Mercy School, Kilbeggan in the quarter-final. The Second Year Hurlers took part in a very enjoyable blitz which was organised in Navan by the Meath County Board. Well done do all concerned in this competition. The Senior Football team had their first outing against a superior team from St. Oliver's, Oldcastle. Despite playing very well, they eventually lost out to the north Meath team. In the North Leinster Championship they defeated Beaufort College before losing to Mercy School Kilbeggan. The Senior Girls Football team were unsuccessful in their first match against Dunshauglin Community College but are still training hard for their next game. The First and Second Year Camogie team enjoyed a three goal victory over Eureka School, Kells. The first half proved to be a very even affair but the home side pulled away in the second half.
The Basketball season is now well and truly under way. The Snior Girls defeated Scoil Mhuire, Buncrana 25-21 in Buncrana, but lost out narrowly to Scoil Mhuire, Granard in second round.
