Project: Construct
a Database (50 marks)
Design
and construct a database that offers a solution to an identified problem.
Your
database
must
contain:
Ø At least 5 fields and 25 records (At least one character field, one numeric and one other)
Design Specification Phase (20
marks)
1. Clearly describe your project aims and identify your queries and reports
2. Specify the record structures including field names, length,data type, key field, reports including headings and contents.

Design a data capture form and screen layout
1. Present evidence of a database structure, screen format and inputted data
2. Print out the entire completed database
3. Print out tof the structure of the database and screen format
4. At least 2 relevant queries as identified at the dsign phase, one of which should use a logical operator (i.e. AND, OR, NOT)
5. The database organised on primary and secondary fields
6. Two appropriate report formats
Modification Phase (10 marks)
Suggest modifications or improvements to the original design
