There was a student teacher at our school for three weeks in September. She did lots of stuff with us. We learned about local history and wrote about Iniskeel island. Here are some photos of what our projects. Famine - Glenties Poorhouse This is a picture about the famine in Glenties. The Comprehensive school was the poor house where people would go when they had no food to eat. Lots of people died.

Transport - Railcar This is picture of the old Glenties Railway in Fintown. It travelled from Glenties to Strabane. It was really handy for workers.
