We added our own verses.

Zebra Questions

I asked the zebra
are you black with white stripes?
or are you white with black stripes?
and the zebra asked me,
Is a sandwich bread with  filling in it?
or filling with bread around it?
Is the sky blue with cloudy patches?
or is it cloudy with blue patches?
Is a witch mean with evil ways?
or is she evil with mean ways?
Is a friesian black with white patches?
or is it white with black patches?
Is a circle a ring with space in it?
or is it space with a ring around it?
Is a tiger brown with yellow stripes?
or is it yellow with brown stripes?
And on and on and on and on,
and on he went.
I'll never ask a zebra
about stripes
Again.

I asked the zebra
are you black with white stripes?
or are you white with black stripes?
and the zebra asked me,
Is a magpie black with white patches?
or is it white with black patches?
Is a lake water with land around it?
or land with water in it?
Is an orange, peel with segments in it?
or segments with peel around it?
Is an island land with water around it?
or water with land in it?
Is the Kilkenny jersey amber with black stripes?
Or is it black with amber stripes?
Is the Japanese flag a red circle with white around it?
Or is it white with a red circle in it?
And on and on and on and on,
and on he went.
I'll never ask a zebra
about stripes
Again.

Zebra Questions 3
I asked the zebra
are you black with white stripes?
or are you white with black stripes?
and the zebra asked me,
Is an egg, yolk with albumen around it?
Or albumen with yolk in it?
Is a circle a ring with space in the middle of it?
Or space with a ring around it?
Is a pie, filling with pastry around it?
Or pastry with filling in it?
Is a book, a cover with pages in between?
Or pages with cover around it?
Is the Kilcock Anti-Incinerator flag, blue with white stripes?
Or white with blue stripes?
And on and on and on and on,
and on he went.
I'll never ask a zebra
about stripes
Again.
