Triangular Bandage

Triangular bandages are used to

  • Hold dressings in position,
  • Control bleeding by direct pressure when used as a broad or narrow folded bandage,
  • Support and immobilise injured limbs, joints, sprains, etc.

Triangular bandages are usually made from 900-1000 mm square of linen or calico, cut diagonally into two bandages.
