My Mom and sometimes my Dad read CAPER with me. It is really fun when my Mom and I put expressions into it. It sounds like it is really happening. Sometimes I take a long book and the book takes a few nights to read. I love spooky stories like The Worst Witch because they are interesting. Christine Kenny Second Class |

CAPER is about reading. You pick a book you want to read and you bring it home. CAPER has helped me a lot. I like CAPER. It is fun to do. My Mammy sits down for ten minutes and does it with me. Sometimes books are funny. Sometimes they are sad. I have read lots and lots of CAPER books. My favourite book was Ding Dong Baby. I am glad I do CAPER because I enjoy reading and sharing books with my parents. 
I enjoy CAPER very much because it's helping me to be a better reader. I learn lots of new words every night. CAPER is fun because it is educational for children and you can choose your own books, which is good. There are lots of different types of books. There are scary books, happy and sad books and exciting books. I love CAPER because I love to guess what is going to happen on the page. Sometimes I guess right and sometimes I guess wrong. When I come into school every morning I sign the CAPER book so the teacher knows I have brought back my CAPER book.
I like CAPER because it is good fun to read the books. Some of the books are exciting and other books are interesting. Some are not so good and when I picked one book it was boring and I didn't finish it. My Mam and Dad help me to read my CAPER books. I enjoy reading the books with my parents and we have good fun.
