The Olympic Games
This picture shows Cathy Freeman lighting the Olympic Flame at the start of the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. We were very interested in the games and have done a project. P6 in Ballysally worked on the Ancient Games and we worked on the modern games. We sent e-mails to one another about our work and we had a video conference about the interesting things we learned. Please click the links below to see our work.
These pages about the Ancient Olympics, that were held in Greece in 776 BC, were written by P6 Ballysally.

This project is by fifth class, Mother of Divine Grace School. We hope you like our work. We enjoyed researching the facts in books and on the WWW. We had fun drawing and painting and measuring and were amazed at some of the facts. We shared our information with Ballysally by e-mail and video conference. What do you think is the most amazing fact? |
