Dissolving Boundaries Through Technology

We have been involved in the Dissolving Boundaries project since last year and we have really enjoyed e-mailing our friends in Ballysally Primary School in  Coleraine and talking to them in video conferences.  We did a project called "Your Place My Place" last year and one on the Olympic Games last term.

The Olympic Games

As part of the Dissolving Boundaries Project,  P6 Ballysally did a project on the Ancient Olympics and we worked on the Modern Olympics.   We studied the history of the games, the sports, did measuring activities and even paid a visit to Morton Stadium.

Video Conferencing

We enjoy video conferencing with our friends in Ballysally and Tallaght.  Do you have a web-cam or video-phone?  We would love to hear from you.

Our Place Dublin

We worked with P7, Mrs. Anderson's class, in Ballysally last year on a project called " Your Place My Place".  They told us all about Coleraine and the surrounding area and we told them about Dublin.   We sent these pages to Ballysally in the form of a booklet and they showed us their amazing artwork during a videoconference.
