All Irish second level education for boys and girls.

Special transition year programme.

Meánscoil San Nioclás has been in existence since 1959 providing second level education through Irish. In recent years the number of students attending the school has grown 30%. As a result ot this development and of the link established with the Co. Waterford Vocational Education Committee, the Department of Education has sanctioned a new building and plans are being drawn up for this present.

In recent years pupils have begun to travel from Dungarvan and a school bus provides a daily service. Buses will be made available from other areas as demand arises.

The advantages and importance of secondary education though the medium of Irish are obvious: third level courses, training and employment opportunities requiring the lnguage become more prevalent each year.

Meánscoil San Nioclás opens many doors for its students as they leave the school with a strong sense of their Irish and European heritage.
