 Nepalese Food ...

Contrary to popular belief Nepalese food is not the same as Indian but has a unique flavour all of its own. Both of Monty's chefs are natives of Nepal and can be relied upon to always produce that special taste of the exotic that you'd expect from natives of the world's highest kingdom. It's no wonder that Nepal delivers with its cuisine since the country nestles between two of the culinary giants of the world, China and India.

[introduce some of the more interesting Nepalese dishes here and talk about the ingredients etc.]

Please note that all of Monty's spices are prepared daily by our chefs from the freshest ingredients.

 Staff

Here then is the staff, all natives of Nepal, that will look after you on your visit to Monty's:

Manager: Shiva Gautam

This man is the top honcho at Monty's, responsible for making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. He is also joint owner of the restaurant.

 Visitors

Are you wondering who else, apart from the culinary reviewers of the world's press, have enjoyed the wonders of Monty's food? Well, Monty's has played host to, among others, Bono, who was inspired to write "The Unforgettable Fire" after dining on one of our particularly delicious spicy dishes, and Quentin Tarantino, who used Monty's wonderful food to fatten up John Travolta for his role in Pulp Fiction!

Shiva and his wife Lina join Bono for a photo opportunity ...

P.S. Certain statements above should be taken with a pinch of salt and plenty of Monty's fresh spices!
