| NEWS FOR SEPTEMBER 2004.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING Milford Athletic Club held its AGM on Wednesday 22nd of September. The following officers were elected: President: Hugh Gallagher, Chairman: John Fitzgerald, Vice Chairman: Manus Peoples Secretary: Margaret Boyce, Assistant Secretary: Mary O'Donnell, Treasurer: Manus Boyce Assistant Treasurer: Paddy Farren, Registrar: Michael Friel, P.R.O's: Hugo Duggan & Brian Boyce, County Delegates: Hugo Duggan & Manus Boyce. TRAINING Training for the cross country will be taking place every Monday and Thursday at 4.30pm in Moyle Park. All athletes are encouraged to attend. Training will also be taking place on Sundays at 11.30 in Cranford Park. Unfortunately Indoor training for the coming year has had to be cancelled. OTHER NEWS Milford Athletic Club is now registered with the Community enterprise & Cultural Services Unit of the Donegal County Council. This Unit has been set up to advise Community groups on issues relating to sport, recreation etc. |
