A. School Closings; Reminder:

Inservice School will be closed on 26th January 2006 for Curriculum Career Development Seminar Day. Christmas Holidays.

Reminder School will close on 22nd December at 12.10p.m. Prompt collection of children please. School re-opening on Monday 9th January 2006 at 9.20a.m.

B, Collection of Children:

In the interest of good order and to keep class disturbance to a minimum we request that parents collecting children for swimming do not enter the school corridor before 9.50a.m. or before the 2o’clock dismissal bell for these classes for non bus children in Infants and First classes. Please collect your child promptly at the designated times 2p.m. for Non– bus Infants and First. 3p.m. from 2nd up to 6th class as unnecessary anxiety can be caused by failure to do so. Late collection is also disruptive of teacher preparation time. Thank you.

C. Christmas Outing to Cinema: Rooms 2 to 6: Tuesday 20th December, 2005 during school day Price €6.50 per pupil for entry and transport by bus, due now please. Parents will not be needed for transport on this occasion.

D. Carol Singing Reminder: Our pupils will be singing Carols. tonight 15th December outside Superquinn from 7p.m.-8p.m. We hope to raise money for the U.N.I.C.E.F Schools Programme in Earthquake ridden Pakistan. All family members and friends are welcome to come and join us. E The Spirit of Christmas Appeal “Lions Club: We ask pupils to bring in some items on non-perishable food to put into hampers for this appeal. These hampers will be distributed locally to needy families. We suggest cake, chocolate, biscuits, coffee, hot chocolate, rice and pasta etc. Avoid tinned peas and beans F. “Kilkenny Lions Club Schools Concert” and Our Carol Service’ Thank you for your support and very well done to all. E. Outstanding Bills: Please pay any outstanding bills now. Swimming €17 Dancing €15

F. Blood Bank: Late Notice with this Circular. Today final day.

G. Name on pupils’ property: All items should be labelled, as many children are unable to distinguish their property from others.

H.Healthy Eating:

We are pleased with the efforts made by all to promote this policy. Children are bringing lovely attractive lunches. Well done and keep up the good work.
