New Pitch Developments 5/3/2006
In the middle of 2005, Mooncoin GAA club undertook a large redevelopment plan to improve the playing facilities at the club ground. The main expense was the purchase of a neighbouring field (behind the Centra Supermarket car park). This field has been turned into another full sized playing field, running adjacent to the existing field (the two fields are in a T-shape). Both fields have been drained and reseeded. The old warm-up or Juvenile playing field (located behind the complex) has been turned into extra car parking space.
