The ultimate driving test The ultimate riding test Taking an advanced driving test is something which every driver should consider. If you pass, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that you drive with the same level of skill as the experts. A pass at Gold standard represents a tremendous driving achievement and this should be a goal for all professional and high mileage drivers. The RoSPA Advanced Driving Test and debriefing lasts about one and a quarter hours and is conducted by a Police Class One driver who will assess the driver’s skill on all classes of road. Passes are graded Gold, Silver and Bronze. Whichever grade you achieve, you will be required to take a refresher test every three years. The RoSPA Advanced Drivers Association national group network can provide assistance and advice for candidates.
