Waterford Annual Mass For Deceased Members and Dublin Branch Annual Dinner and Dance

3 nights Friday to Monday 28th/29th/30th November 2008

The Dublin Branch of the Naval Association will combine their annual weekend away with the Waterford Mass for deceased members . Rooms are available for 3 nights Friday to Monday including 2 dinners (Friday and Saturday) at the Granville Hotel Waterford for at a cost of €145 per person sharing.

This special offer is for the 3 nights only and 2 nights would still be €145 as the Friday night and dinner is offered free to anyone staying the Saturday and Sunday night.

On Saturday night we move into the main Ballroom for our Annual Dinner and Dance. To add to the occassion our members will wear Naval Association attire with black bow tie. Gentlemen guests will wear suit and bow tie of their choice. We leave it to the woman to wear their choice of dress for the evening although most ladies will wear cocktail dress.

On Sunday The Waterford Branch of the Naval Association will host their Annual Mass for deceased members at 1100hrs. The Barrack Street Band will provide music at the Mass. Their choice of music is always lovely to listen to during the Mass. After the Mass a reception will be held in the Waterford Crystal Social centre. Dick Quinn on keyboard will get the party going with his usual variety of sing-along and dance. He is a terrific entertainer as well as an excellent singer and musician. The caterers will arrive around 1300hrs and for a small fee provide an excellent buffet meal. The reception and music usually finishes around 1600hrs time to get back to the Granville Hotel for a few hours rest period before finishing our evening in the Bar. Hopefully Kieran Connors will have his Guitar and like last year provide an great finish to our weekend.
