How to make content created for Poser look good in Daz Studio

So a lot of older and some of the newer content out there do not come with settings or not very good settings for DS.

So what I am going to do is show you some steps that you can use to help improve those settings.

Please remember that there is no one size fits all when it comes to surface settings it can all depend on the type of effect you are after.

Now at the time of writing this tutorial I am using DS3A version 3.0.1.144 (32bit), but as I will only be using the basic settings it will not matter what version you are using.

I have my DS set up using classic layout and using the folders view.

It is helpful to understand how things work so we will start with that.
